Aspidochelone - A large sea turtle or whale so vast in size it can be thought to be an island or a moving island. These creatures are so old and so large that they even grow forest and greens onto their backs. More often then not luring sailors to their death by thinking they have set land. When the creature submerges it takes down the entire crew or those unlucky to swim away.
(the moving Island is legend amongst the sea that it was created by the gods and said to hold the wealth of a thousand kings. Many who have searched for such a rumor have never returned.)
Kraken - A Huge squid that sleeps with in the sea. This creature is to be the second largest sea creature in the ocean with tentacles that measure longer then four ships combined. This creature can not be killed.
Leviathan - A large horned sea serpant that is said to have scales and wings. Destroyer of ships and man.
Mermaid - Creatures of both charm and doom mermaids are rare to see. When a mermaid reveals herself to a sailor it is often for her own entertainment. Mermaids are known to curse or cure those they wish to. A mermaid has the upper torso and body of a woman, and the lower body of a sea creature. Most mermaids are said to be beautiful. Siren - Sirens are bringers of doom, they unable to leave their islands and unable to return to mainland. Sirens lure sailors to their deaths amongst the rocky reefs of their islands. Cold and yet very beautiful they are a mix of pleasure by song and death. No man can resist their song. (Open for play)
Ghosts - Ghost of the sea are spirits that have lingered over their sunken ship or buried treasure. Ghosts are often still clinging to their riches in life that they can not allow any living soul take from them in their death. Ghosts can no harm the living.
Ghost ships - Like ghosts these ships are run by entire crews that have fallen prey to the sea. They know no end to their torment and are often unaware that they are indeed Dead.
Davey Jones - The Devil- the fiend that presides over all the evil spirits of the deep, and is often seen in various shapes, perching among the rigging on the eve of hurricanes:, ship-wrecks, and other disasters to which sea-faring life is exposed, warning the devoted wretch of death and woe.
